We arenβt providing any travel to the venue on the day, but our site this year is even more accessible than in previous years. There are main roads running straight to the site with on-site parking available (Β£5 per vehicle), alongside the necessary traffic management to ensure a safe arrival. We have also provided guidance on public transport to the local area below.
Please note that vehicles left overnight are done so entirely at the owner's risk.
Depending on where you are traveling from, the public transport routes below will connect you directly to our closest local stations - including Bromley Cross, Entwistle, and Blackburn. From there, you are just a quick 10 to 15-minute local shuttle, taxi, or bus connection away from the festival gates.

LEAVING
Ensuring you have pre-booked travel back from the venue is of the upmost importance. Given the rural nature of our location, your safety is our priority - we donβt want you waiting a long time for taxis to turn up.
Please note that walking home from the festival is deemed as EXTREMELY dangerous due to the nature of the surrounding roads and a complete lack of street lighting.
This year, Hillside is providing coaches back to Darwen for the official hillside afterparty, once the event has finished. If you wish to book a spot on one of our coaches, you can do so below. Availability is limited.
